Mayamam Weavers

Brand strategy, identity, collateral including business cards, tags, cards and sales catalogue, and trade show booth design. Developed under the direction of Robin Grunder.

Mayamam Weavers is a cooperative of women weaver based in Cajolá, a Mayan town in Guatemala. The cooperative supports the women with fair wages, education and childcare, and provides an opportunity for them to stay local to their communities.

The Mayamam Weavers Identity system uses traditional colors and significant shapes in Mayan culture. It weaves in elegance and the hand-made, a nod to the high-quality fabrics made by the women of the cooperative.
